Real hungry but didn't want brunch burger. Walked around and literally stumbled onto this place. The food looks authentic and smells very good Walked in and welcomed by nice greek live music. No clue but it's very comforting. The menu is very informative and lots of choices. Lovely roast lamb, reasonable priced. Very happy. Owner is a nice kind gent!

A charming place with good food. I especially recommend the grilled sardines. The portions are very generous; I ordered an appetizer and a main course and couldn't manage to eat it all.

Best traditional food in Athens. The food is as fresh as it gets, the flavors are amazing and the service is great. 100 % recommend this place. Definitely try the Musaka and staffed grape leaves. The lemon chicken was great too.

This was our first lunch on Day 02 of the Greece trip and would highly recommend their souvlaki wraps and the salad. This is what we ordered but i am sure other items on the menu would also be tasty. We were just two people but the restaurant looked busy yet their service was amazing and quick. Loved the food - very tasty. The location is quite central as well.

Magnificent restaurant in the Psirri Square area. We walked in and were quickly greeted and seated. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The menus provided were in Greek and English, with pictures to make things easy. Ever since I arrived in Greece, I have been wanting to try moussaka, and my wife decided to try the pastitsio. The food was great. Everything was well-seasoned, balanced, and tasted amazing. We also ordered a 500ml carafe of wine. The local wine was very good, and even though it was dry, it wasn't as dry as wines we have had before. The decor inside the restaurant is very interesting and eye-catching; it is different from all the places we have visited. We loved the food and service at this restaurant and can't wait to return to try some other dishes.

Atmospheric decor, soothing Greek music. Beer in frozen mugs. Good food, traditional Greek atmosphere. A big plus is the information on the menu about which dishes are made with fresh and which are made with frozen ingredients.

Absolutely incredible. We were looking for any place to eat and settle down for a minute, but I wasn't expecting such a great experience. The menu has plenty of traditional Greek food options as well as some more common options for anyone not wanting to try something new. The menu is also very clear and has an image for every plate that is offered, as well as being incredibly accurate! You will be getting g exactly what you see in the picture. The staff was really friendly and kind, they even made us laugh when telling a short story. The food was delivered quite quickly, but we did eat earlier in the day, so it wasn't very busy. Flavor wise, I have never eaten food this good anywhere else in Athens. Really, I must compliment the restaurant. I ordered fries with mushrooms, chopped bacon and cream. The cream was abundant and very tasty, the mushrooms were soft and the bacon was cut in thin slices, which practically melted in your mouth. If only I didn't discover this place on the last day of our trip I would have definitely returned! I swear I can't recommend this place enough! Considering that the prices were right and felt low for such good food!

A traditional Greek taverna located at Psyrri just a short walk from Monastiraki Square. Known for its authentic home-style dishes and warm, rustic atmosphere, it has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers a variety of classic Greek dishes, including moussaka, beef in red wine, roast pork, and loukanika (Greek sausages), all praised for their rich flavors and traditional preparation. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, such as butter beans, briam (oven-baked vegetables), and spinach with rice, all dishes clearly labeled on the menu.
